to people routed to California, my brother and I both got our biometrics done on october 1st (appointment, not walk in). I got approved on the 27th, he got approved on this morning (30th).

So if you've been waiting about a month hopefully you'll get it soon too, good luck!

Just to be sure... no matter what, work permit applications usually take uscis about 3 months from receipt date right?

More of a curious question since I havent been approved at all yet

We're talking about different things. Everyone knows that the wait time is increasing. But the increase it wait time has little to do with the actual biometrics date. Approvals by biometrics appt alone is all over the place.

Congratulations to you and your brother! I've been waiting for a month 2 days today since my bio and still on initial review...oh wells! can't do anything else but wait...

Best of luck! You should get that soon.. They usually come simultaneously for some. For others they come about a day or two apart.
