You need two forms of I'd. I believe a valid passport. & your birth certificate. Basically enough proof to show that it is really you who are applying. Anything with your photo id and name. Your EAD card & your acceptance letter from USCIS.

Your EAD Card and passport OR birth certificate (meeting the requirements of the Social Security Administration) should be fine. You can also check out the link on this website-- http://ssa.gov/ssnumber/ to the right of that page under 'More Information' specifically 'Non- U.S. Citizens Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals.' If you have an EAD card but do not have a passport or birth certificate, that link on DACA on the social security website also mentions OTHER forms of ID that you can use in proving your identity and applying for a social security number, as long as you have a valid EAD card.

Maybe a dumb question, but I already had a real SSN before this and I was approved. My SSN card has a NOT VALID FOR WORK stamp on it, do i need to do something about this?

You will most likely have to turn that card in and they will send you a new one that has VALID FOR WORK ONLY WITH DHS AUTHORIZATION on it instead of NOT VALID FOR WORK
