I called them after I saw my card today. The guy said I have to wait 15 days?? to get a notice or something and get a new card.

Wow what a crazy story! The same thing happened to me! My mom and dad came to the US when they were young and my mom got pregnant here in the us but my grandma got sick and my mom was the only one that could take care of her. She went back to Mexico (pregnant) and my dad had to leave with her. Three weeks later she gave birth to me (in Mexico) and then they decided to live there. Well then two years later they had my sister. And there it goes. My parents couldn't come back to the US with us since we were so young. We lived In Mexico for 12 years, then my dad would come to the US for a year, make money and leave. And he did that for so many years. Until I turned 12, after 6 months of him living here on one of his trips, he decided to bring us. Me and my sister entered through the border with relatives papers. They made me fall asleep in the car on our way to the border, and next thing you know when I open my eyes, I was already in the US. Same thing happened to my sister. She got here a day before me. Unfortunely my mom had to cross the border through the desert and we had to wait for her to get here for a week. And I've been living here since then. Went to middle school, and now high school. Finishing my credits to start college or an ITT institute and become a computer engineer. I have an awesome job, have a nice car, buy whatever I want, live in a middle -upper class city . Rent is 14500 a month. Plus utility bills. Pretty much the American dream! Only thing stopping me was a paper, a paper that meant freedom to me! And I finally have it! It feels amazing!

I double checked my receipts. They're correct. Maybe they're gonna have you send it back to them, in the meantime I would make a copy in color of it and carry it with me until you wait for your new card (correct one)
My brother and me had a lawyer submit everything. I remember we checked but I don't remember too well....
My fear is having to submit documents again..... and the wait time....

No u won't have to! They're going to just fix it on their end and most likely they're gonna make u send the one with the error back to them. And they will send u a new one
