I personally love it, the graphics are freakin' bad ass but I heard the new 'points instead of kills' system is pretty lame for multi-player. Haven't gone there yet since I'm waiting for my brother to get himself together, but I've played Halo 2 and 3 and 4 is BY FAR my favorite. However, I'm not a huge gamer and I'm more of the MK and Marvel vs Capcom kind of player, so YMMV and obviously, to each his own. I'd rec buying it though.
EDIT: Not to mention the sound. OMG, the sound...
