Official daca process time thread - Page 300

Hi I am new to this forum!
My lawyer filled out my forms and I mailed my application on October 15, 2012
USCIS received it on the California Service Center on October 19,2012
On October 25, I received an I797C and a biometrics schedule
My biometrics was scheduled and done on November 13

I have a clean record and for my original documents, I submitted my I-94, transcripts dated 2008-present, a letter from George W Bush for an award (ha!) dated June 2007, a copy of my passport, and birth certificate. I had a legal F-2 visa until May, 2012 (whew!) So I'm glad everything is working out quite well.

My question is, what is i797C and how long will I get my approval after my biometrics? I am 99.99% positive that I have no malicious police records.
Also, how long will the wait be for my SSN? I NEED it for some scholarships and college apps/loans.

well which service center did your app get send to?? and i cant really give you a time after your bio, theres some people that sent their apps in august and still not approved, theres also october applicants like me that got approved 18 days after biometrics, it depends on the service center and your officer handling the case. wish you good luck! and let me know when you get approved!!
oh and after you get your ead in the mail, you gotta apply for your ssn which it takes 2 weeks to get it after you apply for it.

I-797C is the letter they send you in the mail saying they have received your applications. How long after your bio for approval- there is no specific length for when you'll be approve. It honestly varies. If you look at ppl timeline on here, you'll see how much it varies. Not too sure about the ssn wait time

Got my bio done 10-02-12 and status still in initial review tired of looking at it my cousin did his on 10-03-12 and got approved on 10-31-12 and I'm still waiting I don't know how they are doing that both were sent to Vermont center. _________

Got a text on 11/13 saying that USPS had picked up package containing my card. Hopefully I get by Friday!
