They're trying to make you 3rd class citizens and deny you any rights other immigrants have.
I rather hold up, renew this EAD from DACA and AOS like everyone else. I got about 5 years left.
W-1 for 6 years, W-2 for 2, W-3 for 2 = 10 years. Then after that you can get a nonimmigrant visa for 5 years, then after a 5 year conditional period post nonimmigrant visa, you can possibly apply for a conditional LPR for 5-10 years. This is all assuming you arent dead by then.

I'd rather them just send me a letter stating: "Oh, you've been living here for 20 years? only 20 more until you can get conditional LPR"

Actually it's W-1 for 6 years, W-2 for 4 years, and W-3 (permanent nonimmigrant visa) indefinitely in 4-year increments. If it's up to them you will never be a citizen. That's a gigantic bullshit, especially if your W-1 is military service.

Don't worry guys. Democrats will not support anything that will not lead to citizenship. If we don't become citizens, then Democrats will loose a huge pool of future voters.

Democrats are very smart. They are securing Hispanic votes by supporting DA/CIR right now, and they want secure more votes for the future by allowing us to become citizens. They are thinking ahead. Or maybe, I am just thinking too much...

Only read the first few posts, but I think what is becomingly apparent is some sacrifices are going to have to be made especially regarding the age limit with any DA bill.

My hope is those who do not qualify will receive a pathway through CIR which has a broader scope.

You mean a longer pathway to USC for CIR? I would be happy with this version of DA and CIR together.
