I'm from the Fairfield area. I was approved November 5th, one day before the election. I got a full term ID and next week I'm looking forward taking my 8-hour safety classes. Good luck!

I too am from the new haven area and i did m biometrics the 2nd of novomeber. I'm still under initial review but have hope to hear something this week.

Guys i emailed dmv asking if we can use our Id to board plane because our DL says not valid for federal identification and they said yes, that we have until 2017. After that we need verified DL

Going next week to take my 8 hour driving course. The lady at the school said Connecticut DMV is making a major change starting next year. All over 18 individuals will be required to get a permit first so if you got your EAD, don't wait. Go and take that 8 hour course this month.

Well hopefully this change they are making next year doesn't limit getting a DL for January DACA/EAD approvals. If I get approved January for my DACA/EAD and find out I can only get a permit, that will suck. I was hoping to get a DL right after getting approved for DACA. Hopefully I'll get approved this month.

To anybody who went to the Wethersfield DMV, how long did it take to get your state ID after you walked in? Do they process and give you your ID that same day?
