Official daca process time thread - Page 320

I'm doing everything I can to pass time while I wait.

Hello just quick question:
I'm from SoCal, I sent my application on 10/31/2012 got/ done my Biometrics on 12/03/2012 in El Monte. Any approximation on how long will it take to receive my EAD.
My cousin had his Biometrics on 11/6/2012 and hasn't received anything. He lives in Colorado. Also, does it matter where you live? Meaning it will be faster 'Cause I live in Socal?

no.. depends on the service center.. CA is usually faster.. put it all depends on your case..

So.. Here I am. New to the group and wishing I'd found it sooner.

I feel like I'm in the dark about a lot of things and hoping that perhaps some of you can offer clarity.

I live in Texas and sent my application on 8/16. It was received 8/22. Biometrics shortly after, 9/24 if I recall correctly and then... nothing. I feel like I've been waiting for ages and every one around me - many of which sent their applications 30+ days after me- is steadily receiving EADs.

So my questions: is Texas taking longer than other states? Is the approval process randomized or on a first-in-first-out basis?

Does anyone know the answer to these? I really appreciate the insight.

it seems like it's not first in first out....if you didn't have any criminal record than you should of been fine but i'm surprise you haven't received any RFE or anything since your bio...i don't know what to tell you cuz it seems like there are handful of you guys that did your bio on spet and still waiting i did my Service request on 12/05 but i did receive RFE try this thread it might help you since there are a lot more people that post their timeline http://dreamact.info/forum/showthrea...1723&page=1152

California Service Center Applied....08/23 Bio...10/02 RFE Received 11/02 RFE Sent back 11/19 (updated on USCIS same day) did service call 12/05 hoping to get approve Friday ;o)

So, if I have no criminal record nor have I worked before, then I should be able to receive my EAD sooner?

I think i am getting an ulcer!!! My I-765 app status was in card/document production since Novmber 6th...then finally on Nov. 30th it changed to Post decision activity..but still says that changed was made on Nov. 6Th!!! And that they mailed it to me and if i dont get it withing 30 of Nov. 6 to contact them so i did on Wed...and they were not helpful in answering my questions...and could not find any other update on their system nor why my I-821 app is still saying that in Nov 5 a notice they sent me was returned when that same day i took care of the address problem!!! Address changes are supposed to update in 10 from when i contacted them!!! Now am more confused and stressed than ever!!

So does anybody know what does post activity decision really means other than what the website says??? And how long after that do i have to wait to get anything in the mail..or some kind of text or email updating me on my status???!!!

App sent 10/17 received and routed to California SC 10/19
bio appt walk in 11/09
status since Nov 6..card/document production...then 11/30 post decision activity
Made a service request over the phone on 12/05
supposely service request takes about 30 days for them to contact u!!! :-/ what a drag!! I need to get a job ASAP and need a SS# my CNA course during the spring semester!!!!!

am I drunk or are you saying that you did your bios on nov 9th but got approved on nov 6th?????? lol

I never said approved!! That when the status changed to card/document production...Nov. 6...i dont event understand their explanation thats why i am SUPER confused...here go check it out...WAC1390081500...on Nov 30, Went from card/document production to post activity...but says the same message of Nov 6... and yes i did my biometrics on Nov. 9.
