Please help...trying to get a Drivers Permit

It says that the parent must have a Georgia ID or Drivers license to sign for me

Both my parents don't have either...

Is there anyway I can get around this or will I have to wait till im 18?

I just glanced through but unfortunately it seems like you will have to wait until youre 18 because of "Joshua's Law". Not sure how it would work if you were emancipated but are you far off from 18? Maybe you can just wait it out. Usually an ID is only really important after youre 18 (graduate from HS) because your HS ID should have your dob.

I have gotten a permit using the passport of my parents as valid identification. Try that I went to the DMV in Collier road in Atlanta

Make sure you bring proof that your parents are your parents. A birth certificate or a leasing paper would be ample proof of that.

Did it really work like that??? I went to the DMV and everything was fine until they told me that my dad had to show an ID because I have no bills under my name, only on his to prove my residential address. Could I try just bringing his passport and my birth certificate and see if works? Maybe I'll try the DMV you went to.

So, even if you are over 18/21 a parent with a valid license is proof of residency?
