How do i check online the status

I have sent application
Got letter for biometric
Done biometric and now waiting. How can i check my status online?
And # do i need?

where it reads "Case Status" enter your LIN############ that you have on your letters and see where your process is at.

enter either of your receipt numbers where it says check status, you have to enter your RECEIPT number not the A# or alien number
