SSN still waiting a month later

So It has been 4 weeks since I applied for my SSN, I went to the office today only to be told the application is still pending as immigration hasnt verified my EAD yet. WTF? She asked me to wait another 2 weeks. Jeez, what do you guys think i should do? Should i go to another office and reapply? or should i just wait? I am so mad because keep in mind I applied for DACA on Aug 15, it took them forever to approve me, and then now this long wait for a SSN, i need to register for spring classes

go and recheck cuz i applied and a week later went for printout and they said my application wasnt in the system so the lady fixed it for me and i had it like 4 days later in the mail

I been waiting for 6 weeks! They told me that my application still pending! I don't know when the DHS will verify my stuff! I really need it so I can start looking for another job. I'm tired of waiting!

I have been waiting for over a month for the actual card to come in. I recommend you call the office. I did that and the lady told me I had a number. I went to the office the next day to get the actual number but am still waiting for the card.
