yes, they check.. unless you get a cool adjudicating officer. One who gives two shits about this whole process.

you need to have your GED... you just can't decide to not finish your GED... you can be in the process to obtaining your GED but heres what you need

this is from an RFE request.

"CURRENTLY ENROLLED IN SCHOOL
The evidence you submitted with your Form I-821D, Consideration of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, showing that you have been accepted for enrollment or are already attending classes in one of the following is insufficient:
-A public or private elemntary, junior high/middle school or high school/secondary school;
-A public or private college or university, or community college;
-A course of study to pass a General Education Development (GED) Certificate exam or other State-authorized exam;
-An educational or career training program (including vocational training);
-Literacy training; or
-An English as a Second Language (ESL) program.

you fall into the GED so i will post what they want for that.

Such evidence is to include a letter from the authorized representative of the program that includes information such as:

*Your name and date of enrollment;
*The duration of the program and expected completion date;
*Whether the course of study is for a regular high school diploma or recognized equivalent under State law or a GED exam or other equivalent State-authorized exam;
*The program's source and amount of funding; and
*The program's authorized representative's contact information.

My brother got his GED before we got his RFE so all we did was send his GED diploma and that took care of this RFE.

do not quit the program. If you do, you do not qualify for Deferred Action.

You serious bro? Don't fucking apply if you're not getting a GED.. You'd basically be committing fraud and lying if you leave your GED class.. Bad as it is you dropped out of school.. Don't make a mockery out of dreamers by dropping out and trying to cut corners..

The Dream Act and the Dreamer movement was made for people that are serious about educating them self's, if your just a person who wants the benefit and not even plans on finishing school, you don't deserve getting any think, their is many REAL Dreamers that are out of age that would love to have the opportunity that people like the OP taking for granted!!!! MY thought

I have a lot of respect for the Original Dreamers that started this Movements and to have people just try to get everything as fast as possible with out even trying to educate them self or even know what the Dream Movement is really about gets me pissed

Yeah what a shame that some very deserving ones don't meet the age criteria
