Approved Feb 18. Had a deportation order from '04, I think. My family decided to stop taking to court since my chances of staying here in the US decreased dramatically; after my asylum application was denied. But here I am eager to start my new life. btw my application was received on october 4th, did my bios on 10/19

I also had a final deportation order but have not yet submitted my application. Reading all of your threads makes me feel better. I am worried about my mother since she also has a final deportation order and has overstayed. Do they ask about your parent or was anyone else worried about putting your real address down? Don't want to lie but I don't want to get my mom deported.

no they do not ask about your parents. I did not mention my parents at all in my application. I applied to get my social security today, so I can get a drivers license

There is a thread of some people reaching 6 months already, and being told to wait another 6 months before calling again :S

It's true. If you put in a service request at the 6month mark, they basically tell you to wait another 6months before trying to contact them again..
