The whole "well I already made my life here" argument doesn't really work because you know who also left everything behind to give you a better future? you're parents. They adapted, learned the language and whatnot. so you shouldn't that get to you and tie you down there.

I 100% agree with your analogy because that is exactly how I feel with our licenses in NC because they did in fact give us a special design clearly stating our status. I know it's not about being grateful or not. I'm just stating that in regards to the OP who is not satisfied with their license for only stating "Limited Term" when ours in North Carolina is a whole lot worse. "Limited Term" doesn't make you stick out like a sore thumb or single you out as a DACA recipient. Therefore, comparing the two licenses I would take the one in Texas with "Limited Term" any day. However I'm going to have to deal with my HOT PINK "NO LAWFUL STATUS" License because it's better than no license at all, until some kind of movement happens. You have to deal the cards your dealt.

I can move when ever I want to, there is nothing stopping me from doing it. I don't want to move because I like Texas, but if the situation gets tense then who knows. But I do care that other people would have to live with this since it has become the norm in most states. You seem to want to make this personal, don't worry about me. Let people complain if they have to, there is nothing wrong about being frustrated in regards to unjust situations. That is why this site is all about.

If I were you I would stop trying to reason with this person. It seems like he's watched Fox news for too long. According to this person, we are beggars who CAN'T COMPLAIN.

But we really CAN'T complain. We do not even have a legal status here and you want to complain about what's on your license or ID? Even though we're not the ones that chose to come to this country, we should be grateful that in a land of laws, they have chosen to practice discretion in our cases and not send us back. Also, driving is a privilege, not a right. So they don't have to give you a license if they choose not to.

So how is this unjust? Were you NOT here with out authorization a few months ago? And now thanks to DHS and Obama you are able to stay here for 2 years with out be deported, have a job and now have a DL?

Its unjust that they are being allowed to be here lawful/legally for 2 years, its unjust they were given a SSN with the words. "VALID FOR WORK ONLY WITH DHS AUTHORIZATION" its unjust their ID/DL have the words LIMITED TERM because its not limited at all! yeah so their EAD says it expires after 2 years but why should their DL/ID have it as well? Nothing is limiting them from driving at all man. They are essentially no different than USC so they should essentially be given the same rights USCs get since after all.

Stop complaining SO MUCH. You're so self-entitled. Don't you know you are an undocumented beggar??? You do not get to complain. You're here to beg not to complain!! Be happy with what you have and keep your head down. Otherwise, just go back to your country if you don't like it here.

(I'm trying to act like this person, for those who might read this out of context).
