Would you consider me as a Mod?

I fit that criteria.

I would not accept the position because it would require me to 1) Be more serious. 2) Which means joke around less. I could do it, but i wouldnt want to...and i think it would be unfair to people who may actually want to do it. Either way, love some of you (ie Msaccountant). Im also not super active anymore because i have gotten busy with rl stuff.

Like i said, if Ianus wanted it he would get it. There would be no reason to nominate him at all. But just as i suspected, he doesnt want it.

DA User, while sometimes he may seem overly optimistic...he isnt usually involved in funny business. He has been on here for a while and can be motivational. I think he is the next best person.

As "cool" as some of the new members on here might be, i would STRONGLY be in favor of someone pre-daca. Preferably someone who joined prior to 2011. No disrespect to anyone though.

I like DA User, but I'm worry that new members coming in and see a moderator saying CIR is going to pass next week or predicting non sense. Moderator is a serious position.

Same thing here. I've been moderator on 5 different websites, including one that had over 2,000 active members at any time of the day, and I'm currently a moderator on another forum.

I like arguing around here too much though lol, but it's definitely not a difficult task to do.

So at this point, we're just naming off people to potential candidates so that you and others can decide who best fits the criteria? Sounds good to me. As long as the candidates you and moderators have in mind are reputable, long-standing, and active, it'll be an asset for sure.

We will only consider people that have been mentioned in this thread.

We will look at their post history to see how they behave, handle conflict, etc.
