Hey guys!
I have a few things to say... Even though I been following this forum/blog post for the past 6 months, this will be my first post.
Yesterday, I joined the 6th month club. I really never thought I would get to this point, but alas, I am here and it sucks . It's been such a painful waiting game. Every single day for the past six months I've checked my case status even though I am signed up for e-mail/text message notifications. It's driving me slightly insane...
But I know we are all in that same boat, so I don't wanna spend too much time discussing all the negatives. Instead, I want to thank all you guys. I've been sort of a creep for the last six months reading all of you guys' timelines/stories and never once contributed to the conversation.
So here I go: THANKS! YOU ARE ALL BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE, AND YALL KEEP ME GOING.
I am 22 years old, about to graduate Suma Cum Laude with a degree in molecular biology. I will be publishing two years of research in a biomedical journal this summer. Even though I am not sure if I believe in God, I KNOW THAT I AM BLESSED.
We are all united by a common characteristic--> WE ARE RESILIENT INDIVIDUALS. DONT GIVE UP. DONT LOSE HOPE. WE'VE GOT THIS GUYS. SOMEDAY, WE WILL BE GREAT AMERICAN CITIZENS, NO DOUBT.
Hang in there, for your sake, my sake, our sake.
