6 months ago today. On a warm friday. I biked to the post office with a grin on my face.

I can imagine it.

I'm at 6 months and I definitely have the 8+ month face
I don't want to imagine the face I'll have if I do hit 8 months

I just called to inquire about my case for the first time. I had no luck!. The customer service rep gave me her generic talking points... pretty much repeating everything that I knew from reading the "Initial Review" online. Which was received on September 19, 2012.

Well I received a reply from the congresswoman's office. Like I said before, it's exactly what I expected. It was a failed attempt. The same old generic 90 days after 821 is approved reply that I already have...

so basically my application along with the others are dusting somewhere at Vermont. I'm not bothering with an e-request. F- this.

I called USCIS to inquire about my case. The rep was very knowledgable and nice. I explained her my necesity of getting my work permit as soon as possible. A few hours later, my case has been updated twice. It has been transfered. I hope the transfer will speed up the process. I truly need to get my work permit & ss# by May. I'm gonna start taking my nursing classes. I just have to wait and see

Remember when I said i wasn't checking my status anymore, so today I'm getting ready to go out and my sister comes screaming saying YOU GOT IT YOU GOT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!, I'm like WTH is she talking bout and it was my Approval and EAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WAS ACTUALLY APPROVED SINCE THE 12TH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
