Find yours here http://www.house.gov/representatives/find/

Put ZIP number.

I think you can have an appointment by calling his or her office but for me, it was not necessary. We just walked in.

I didn't see how they inquired the USCIS about my case. We visited them on December but they even told us that wait until February. So we did!

But *sigh* you know how USCIS never gets things done on time so we pushed the congress man/woman's office and I think with their pressure, they found out that both my sibling and my applications were not even opened and my sibling's packet was TOTALLY MISSING! So it took my sibling's case longer. Somehow things worked out and they just gave the card to my sibling.

So I am thinking maybe 7+ month case is either NOT even opened and stepped on basement of piles of packets, or your packet is bottom but new packets is placed on top of yours and yours become forgotten.

Or the worst case, like my sibling's, packet is entirely missing.

USCIS would never admit it is their fault in the end. So hopefully things work out great for all of you.

How do you communicated with them , writing email ? Or making face to face appointment?

We did face to face.

It will be definitely better.

Another warning is that make sure to find out how immigration friendly congress rep is . Fortunately my congress rep is pro immigration.

You don't want to visit office where they are all red and super conservative and despise immigrants, legal or what not.
