Oh man, your story is too familiar. But I'm only half way living through it in my situation.

I am also an Engineering Major, also rejecting jobs, also nobody knows about my situation and it is very very hard.
I'm glad it turned out ok for you. I dont have anyone on my radar though (who I would want to spend the rest of my life with) and I do not want to marry for papers. I see people doing this left and right, because they have no other choice, but I just feel its wrong.

On the other hand being in the Engineering field, its funny how many Americans are saying immigrants are taking their jobs. All that an American has to do to be set for life is GO TO COLLEGE! And if you can't pay for it, the govt and the college will pay for it. Its easy to asume "we cant afford college", why dont you apply and see how many resources are available for those who cant afford and are citizens or legal residents.

Welcome, I know how you feel about the "depression", I suffer it as well. However I was not into drugs, but I took my anger by hitting the gym. This situation is not easy but we all are going to be better people because of it. We learned not to hate people, to show compassion for people who are less blessed. I'm happy that you turned your life away from drugs and graduated and now you are working. As well as got married, that shows alot of character buddy, Stay up Player.

Not only it FEELS wrong, it is becoming impossible. I have contemplated that possibility myself, even asked my best friend to do me the favor, but a friend of my step-father paid someone to marry him and when they had an interview with the CIS, they didn't believe them and they schedule a second interview, they also told him that they might go and visit him in his domicile. They actually did, he wasn't home, and he lives with another girl, she was alone and pretended not to be home at all. They staid for like an hour! So what do YOU guys think it's going to happen to him in his interview? I know, same thing that happened to another friend of my step-dad, he went to the interview, they didn't believe him, they arrested him right there in the interview!!! He was automatically deported! So, false-marrying is not a solution anymore... is a bigger risk than staying here undocumented EVEN if the Sensenbrenner bill had passed! LOL well.. .I'm off to sleep... Welcome deftbeta and I'm glad YOUR situation is fixed... thanks for coming to help the ones that are still struggling
