Based on OP's user name ending in "87" I will assume he is 26 in 5 years he will be 31 and by that time if he play his cards right he would have a degree (if he hasn't gotten one yet) along with a good resume with job experiences to start in a decent gov't job position.

I just look at this as being too greedy in wanting everything served and done his way or the highway, and if he gets the highway no one losses but himself.

Point of it all, down to the meat and potatoes, we have citizenship in 5 years. We will see all about that nomenclature when the bill comes out.

Can you please provide a source that says it is for 5 years? Did you mean we can renew during the 5 year period? Because if we do, it is the same thing as the 2 year EAD for employers.
As far as I know no one knows the rules/law yet as it is not yet published to the public.

Can you please provide proof that it is the same as PR and the only difference is we cannot petition relatives.

According to the USCIS website:

Yes, this is according to the current rules and legislation, but a CIR would change all of this.

This CIR is just not an additional to our system but a reform.

Yeah, but I doubt it will be the same as a permanent residence card. I understand OP problem with it because certain dreamers need a green card in order to work, but in the end we must deal with it.

I hope CIR will change it. How about the 1 year application process? Is that for us dreamers too?

It is. Stellar, actually.
