If you think waving a Mexican or any other foreign flag in the air during a protest is going to make a big difference, you are delusional.

Think of the news headline "House of Representativs Blocks CIR Because Mexican Flags Were Waved During Protests"... Ridiculous x)

LMAO.

At 0:33 that dude with the Mexican flag on top of the small American flag. It's almost like they do it on purpose.

How old were you when you came to the US?

Who is organizing these things? Are they mentally ill?

Oh, God, are you sure it wasn't some Cinco de Mayo (holiday in the U.S., but not a holiday in Mexico. Yeah, ironic) video editing to make it look as if they were at the immigration rally? Lol.

Nothing wrong on that video, few mexicans, waving flags showing where they came from.

Well, they are welcome to go back to where they came from if they think it's so great and they are so proud. Sorry if it sounds harsh but they can't on one hand be having their hat out begging for amnesty while at the same time saying how proud they are of their homeland. I honestly can't think of any country that allows foreigners to fly the flag of another country.

Who are you to say that, i laugh when i hear that from US citizens, i laugh harder when it comes from a fellow undocumented, Now i understand why some illinformed fox news viewers think this way but to get this from another immigrant it's something else. Now i will turn it around for you, if you reject the freedom this country gives to an individual to celebrate its heritage then are you a true american a true patriot.

Perfect example of time and place. This rally was neither the time nor the place.

Hmmm...I agree with you as well as with those whose opinion is that protesting for legalization while waving foreign-flags is inappropriate. Two sides of the same coin. Is it exiled/emigree Mexican citizens' fault the country (Mexico) does not live up to its potential? What exactly is it so offensive about being Mexican? Is it the Spanish language? Is it the color of the skin (tan for most)? Is it really that they are poor and have (past immigrants -the technological revolution has ensured that future generations like us, will do anything in their power to break the cycle) stayed poor?

Mexicans are very, very hard-working, proud people. The Spanish language is beautiful. We worship family and children. It is time to accept that "viva Mexico" doesn't apply to those who left (us); it applies to those that stayed behind and are struggling *in* Mexico. I don't know what label to put to those who are proud as Mexicans *in* America as it's obvious that the hyphenate 'Mexican-American' implies those born here.

We are a people in transition in these times.

Americans seem to accept people from India being Hindi; Asians being Chinese, Japanese, Korean, etc; "Europeans" (not from the UK) staying European; but it hits a nerve when Latinos want to keep close cultural ties to their country of origin. Time to move on...I think that people being loyal to their *home* country is what really counts and our home is in this country. If you are loyal to the U.S., then I think is right to ask for the opportunity to earn your place in society.

We are people in the midst of transition, that's for sure.
