ok guys its official after soooo long and trying to forget about it and then being paranoid for the last 2 weeks checking every second. My status just changed to approved online. I feel like my life just started like a little kid being told i can be anything =) For those waiting, dont lose hope. It will come. Here is my timeline.

applied 11/20/12 (Vermont)
797s- email 11/28/12
biometrics done 12/26/12
Transferred to Nebraska 3/20/13
RFE 4/8/13
RFE reponse sent 4/23/13
5/6/13 in the morning 765 approved and just now daca approved (all online) never got the email or text.

Congrats!....That's exactly how I am....I am paranoid and check my status every 5mins. Today I started a resolution not to check it all!.....so far I have not checked it. but the urge to do so is driving me nuts. Hopefully I can make it through the whole day without checking ...N e ways I'm happy for You. Good luck on your new life!

Cool what document did u use to get ur Ssn. All I'm gonna have is my work permit and a 2005 school I'd. Will that work?? Or what else could I use. Btw I got that email this morning that the sent out my card. ))))) YAY!!!!

Question for anyone from California, how many business days till you got your social security number in the mail after you applied for it?

i received a letter from uscis and they are asking me for more evidence from 2007 to 2010. the only thing that i have right now are my transcripts but i did send them the first time i dont know if there was a problem with the transcripts. i dont know if i should send the transcripts again or get more papers, but i think that with the transcripts it should be enough i graduated in 2010 from high school

Where i'm at in NV they sometimes don't accept our matriclas so they told us to go to the clinic and and get medicals records. My card should be arriving in the next hour or so!!!!

i used my passport, i also have a matricula though but all they need is one other thing for proof of age. so i don't know if that'll work since it doesn't have your birthday on it i'm guessing but you can try. i think they also would take a birth certificate. but don't go by what i say i recommend you call the social security office in your area and ask them. awesome! you should get you're tracking number tonight before 8.

seems like were in the same case , i also sent the transcripts , transcripts seem to be the clearest option to proove u were here those years , i also graduated in 2010 , and we have similar timelines , i havent heard anything from them though , there was a similar case with someone else who re submitted the same evidence and got approved , i would re send it again , did you apply with a lawyer or self prepared ?

I haven't been approved yet.. but a close friend was went to apply for her SS# on a Wednesday and got it by Friday...so in her case it was 2days

Once you fill out the SSN form at the office, they will send your number in the mail, or do is it possible to retrieve it from the official website?
