Excuse me but as an undocumented feminist I feel like I don't have the same rights. Feminism gives me more strength as an undocumented human.

yep I will be joining the feminist marches hopefully. I really do believe women's rights will be the next big thing people are going to talk about since more and more professionals are hitting the glass ceiling and rape is at an all time high everywhere in the world. In our military the pentagon released that there are over 70 sexual assault charges per day...

Anyone with open eyes, can see there is a systematic campaign for the degradation of women in popular culture, it's quite shameful because the role models of young girls you see in mass media with little or no self respect are responsible for influencing the mind of these young women with underdeveloped intellect. Hopefully the Feminist movement gains more attention, I think it will help reverse the self destructive programing most young women receive through various mass media outlets.

=o. not just media and society, the laws as well. the equal rights act of 1970 still hasn't been passed to include woman in the "all men are created equal" declaration. the 13th and 15th amendment only included colored males. it wasn't until 1970's when woman were allowed to own land. many people think the 1970's equal rights act wasn't passed because insurance companies didn't want to stop charging women more for insurance, so much lobbying was done.

You guys can do what you want, but just take a count of how many NOW members you see testifying for immigration rights in congress and how many you see marching at pro-immigration marches. In my world (ie. the real world), immigration reform is the biggest single important event that needs to be dealt with. All the other movements have had their day in the court and while they may not be perfect, they have more rights than our movement.

I can't tell if you're trying to say the feminists are for CIR or not lol but personally I've never seen any fighting for us lol either way, I'd never support feminists, I think they're silly.. I am for equal rights but they take it to another level by making men seem evil or bad..

Exactly They couldn't care less about our cause. Black rights groups? Many are against us too because they feel that immigrants are competition for low skill jobs (anybody remember that black fellow from Cleveland in the Senate?).

The point is that charity begins at home. Let's all get legal status first, then you can support whatever other cause that you feel guilty about.

Define feminist. And don't give me a wiki copy/paste. Tell me what it means to be a feminist for you? What does one have to believe in or do in order to be a feminist?
