I got really lucky. I sent out 5 applications. Went on 3 interviews. Got 2 offers. Started work 3 weeks after I got my EAD at one of the biggest sports broadcasters. In my field and happy

And I mean really lucky. I had no work experience. No a single internship.

I'm in the U.S. Army.

i work as a retail consultant for sprint

I'm a Software Engineer by profession.

It has been hard for me. I had to go back to my old job which is only on Fridays and any other day when I have to fill in for someone that didn't go to work. It pays $120 a day but the thing is that I won't be able to keep it in 9 weeks because of school so I'm desperately searching for one of those jobs at Rite Aid or McDonalds but no luck. 3 weeks already. Only 2 interviews and no luck. Finding a job on the books is harder than finding one under the books.

Well I work for a guy who makes produce deliveries to restaurants in Manhattan. I basically start at 3 am in Hunts Point produce market picking up produce and loading up the truck. By 8 am we're on route to make the deliveries. Not a hard job once you get the hang of it. The hard thing is when it rains and you have t bring stuff downstairs. Those stairs get slippery specially when carrying heavy stuff like potatoes which weight 50 pounds each. I already slipped twice

I hope you invested in some restaurant grade non-slip foot wear!

yeah, you should definitely look into that! In this country, nobody has the luxury of getting sick/injured... We just can't afford it.
