Non-emergency operators are not cops. They have no authority whatsoever to give orders or commands. The operator who answered Zimmerman's phone call testified to this in court. If they give orders, they then become liable for anything that occurs.

There don't have to be any injuries AT ALL in order for someone to be in a life threatening situation. I can pin you down and put a pillow to your face, you would be suffocating, would you be in a life threatening situation? Yes. Would you have any serious injuries? No, you wouldn't have any injuries at all.

Mind you, Zimmerman was in a much worse situation, so the injuries just strengthen his story for self-defense, not weaken it. There's no reason why Zimmerman should have waited until he had sustained near death injuries in order to defend himself.

Blacks were the grand majority of the people committing the crimes in that area as shown by the police reports. Also, Zimmerman called the police on people of other races, not just blacks. Trayvon was the only one that showed sings of racism by calling Zimmerman a "creepy ass cracker" while on the phone with Rachel Jeantel

Hopefully, the state didn't show any evidence that Zimmerman wanted to intentionally kill Trayvon, so 2nd degree murder was a joke from the start.

Manslaughter is a little different which I can see how there might be a case, but I don't believe the state presented it well either.

yea... the prosecution didnt focus on facts.. more on assumptions and emotions.. trying to get the jury emotional... which wont work... i think with the evidence at hand... the homicide is excusable..

Yeah, the closing argument by the prosecutor John Guy was almost laughable and kinda disturbing, asking the jury to use their "heart" when making their decision. He might as well have told them straight out to ignore all of the evidence.

They know that 5 out of 6 of the jurors are mothers, so they tried to play that route with emotion.

Yes it does, but I believe it also depends on the amount of jurors that there are. In this case, there's only 6 jurors, so it has to be unanimous. In other cases, it can be a majority decision.

I hope they have a verdict by today. I'm guessing they're real close to leaving for the day.
