Since submitting application, how long until I hear from them?

I submitted my application on the 22nd July, they received it on the 23rd July. When will I be able to start tracking it's status? I did sign up for the G-1145.

You will get your receipts soon and your biometrics letter normally within a month.

Thanks but what receipts are u referring to? Like a confirmation that they received my packet? I thought they would be texting and emailing me.

Yes for that and for the amount you paid and I'm not familiar with the txts and emails but you might get them also.

USCIS will send you 2 letters.

the 1st one will be your receipt letter for the I-821D
the 2nd will be your receipt letter for the I-765

Both letters will have Receipt numbers on them. They start with 3 letters followed by numbers. The only difference in the numbers is usually only the last number.

Then you will receive your bios letter with the I-765 receipt number on it.

After you get the 1st two letters, you can go to the USCIS website and on the left side of the page you can put in your receipt numbers and check the status.

Since you just applied, your case will be on "initial review" for a while. even after you take your bios. It will only change if you have been issued a RFE, then it will change according to that, or if and when you get approved.

I sent my application in on July 16th and I just got the e notification by email and text, where they tell me my case was routed to Nebraska
