Just ignore the d-bag, and act like you didn't hear anything. Make him look stupid. As long as you are not doing anything wrong, then you dont need to be conscious about him

i used to have a bully neighbor that threatened to literally kill me and send family members after me because I according to her "banged on the walls" ( this of course was not true. aggressive neighbors should not be simply dismissed, google up neighbor kills neighbor and there are plenty of stories, so do not take your chances. I called the tenant housing board in my city and they said threats by neighbors are considered a violation of a lease because they prohibit your ability to feel safe in your home. call them and they will give you lots of helpful hints on how to deal with the neighbor. also file a police report, just in case, this is SUPER easy to do, and in case something happens this will help you prove that it wasnt an isolated incident but rather a continuing pattern. Not to scare you but hella people die or are injured at the hands of their neighbors, so things can get out of hand rather quickly.

Just laugh in their face, it's what I do.

Seems like he's being nice again, or at least not mean.

I hate having problems with neighbors.

Neighbors can be a pain in the ass sometimes i can sign under to that, but living illegally in a country is also a crime.
