December 2013 DACA Approval

Hi guys! After waiting for such a long period of time I applied! Don't loose hope. I also had an attorney fill out my application & gather all my paper work, & had an immigration lawyer represent me to USCIS. I chose to do this because I didn't want to risk anything going wrong, & I would have wanted my case to run a smoothly as possible. That's exactly what happened. I payed a total of $845.00 (application cost etc. included) Oh & if it matters, I'm in Colorado! ----> Here's my DACA timeline:

Application sent: October 3, 2013 USPS express delivery
Application received date: October 7, 2013 Nebraska Service Center
Notice mailed to me: October 9, 2013
USCIS online case status check: Initial Review - October 9, 2013
ASC Biometrics Notice mailed: October 21, 2013
Biometrics appt. (no walk-in): November 07, 2013 @ 9:00 A.M
USCIS case update (text/email) *CARD DOCUMENT PRODUCTION* : December 10, 2013

Current USCIS case status online:
On December 10, 2013, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

Now, I'm patiently waiting! Good luck to the rest.

CONGRATS! It doesn't take more than a week for your EAD card to arrive in the mail.

Thanks! oh, Really? How cool. I don't want to wait an extra 30 days, but I'm approved now, so I wouldn't mind waiting. As long as I get my EAD card.

LOL Yeah, it doesn't take that long. I got my 5 days after I got the text, that my card was being produced.

The hard part is over, well the hardest. lol

Thanks. I was getting real worried about my case. I kept coming across so many posts of people waiting for over 6+ months & I was getting impatient. I can't wait for my EAD to come in the mail!!
