1986 was a good year for Trapper Keepers. I guess now days it's powerpoint presentations and online stuff so buy a nice light laptop and a backpack that has room for both papers and the said laptop. I like those 1 inch binders so I could punch holes in the class notes and put them in.

When I was in college, even the cheap laptops were about $1500 and the ones I needed were about $2000 so I never owned one while in college (and I was a computer science major) so you can certainly get away with using the school computer lab and a cheap desktop at home, but now days you can buy a $500 laptop that does anything you need for school, but I digress.

I would bring a notebook and a pen for the first week. You'll figure out what you need by then.

Yea, I may roll with a laptop if it seems very beneficial...but I will keep it old school for now and see what happens...

...I'm more nervous about going back to school, lol...it's been almost a decade......

Turn that nervous energy into paying attention in class and reading the notes and the book.

I should have payed attention to the "Don't buy books until the semester starts..." suggestion. I rented a used book from the school store and apparently we need a NEW book for a code included within new textbooks. So let's see how exchanging works out tomorrow.

On other news, the word "shit" is okay to say on television. The word "republican" has been added to the curse words list.

Do it as soon as possible!!

For a math class, I will buy the access code (to do homework online) and rent the book. I actually just rented it. It'll cost $20

come to think of it.. this like a very obvious thing to just know.... when you register, a week before classes, some teachers/instructors/Drs will send you a syllabus of what is needed

Interesting point, I may have to check my college hosted email account to see if I got any emails from staff or teachers.
