I met a girl in Mexico that was born in the US. She said she came to Mexico to visit family but never came back. She said she likes Mexico much more and right now she is struggling to get Mexican citizenship.

Returning to country you claim asylum or refugee status from voids it, even if you have obtained a green card already and will come up if he'd file for citizenship.

In other words he just proved his case was bogus and he will never be allowed back into US and will be deported anyways the moment someone notices. Only way for him to stay under the radar would be to remain a permanent resident forever.

I don't see a problem here...

Every GC is marked with the type of case under which it's granted. On top of it the GC number is actually the USCIS case number. It is patently obvious to anybody who understands the code that it's a GC through asylum.
I didn't know that, but I guess this is where "our immigration system is broken"
comes in because majority of Chinese I know gained their Residency through such methods. Religious Asylum of Falun Gong is popular these days, but before that, it was claim on attack on their Christianity, or the One-Child Policy before that. And yet, they all have been traveling back and forth with no problem.

Perhaps they went through a third country, like Hong Kong, so their passport doesn't bear mainland China stamp.

I have heard of one guy from my country whose GC was revoked because he claimed asylum then visited home. I guess it's the luck of the draw.

In theory GC card holders are supposed to spend at least 6 months in the state to keep the status. However, I have heard of many people who live abroad and maintain their GC by visiting USA once a year. I have also heard of people that lost their GC by doing that one annual visit method.

The law is not uniformly enforced. If the CBP officer at the airport wakes up on the wrong side of the bed that day, he could give you a hard time for nothing. If he just got lucky the night before, he could just stamp your passport without looking too much into it.

A lot of people with DACA have gotten AP through the main 3 reason , I always wonder how many of these claims were true and how many just made up an excuse to erased their EWI entry

Well they might've been dishonest about the primary intent, but in most of them the actual reason existed (ex. the ailing relative, or the school/job trip).

Come on, people put together phonebooks of bullshit for I-601 and I-601A waivers. USCIS is well aware of that people will bend over backwards to get legal.
