Just hit the 2 month mark. Last month it said the app was transferred to another office for faster processing. Anyone have an MSC receipt number?

Good evening everyone,*
I just wanted to give everyone an update on my AP approval if anyone is thinking about applying for AP. I initially sent out my AP application on 12/06/2013 and got approved on 1/08/2014, so the turn around time for me was a month and 2 days. I applied for humanitarian reasons (sick grandfather) and I also requested a specific date to leave the country, I requested to leave in May and for multiple entries and everything was approved. I honestly think it all depends on the letter you write and how you present your case. I've delt with USCIS a couple of times and have not had any issues what so ever. When dealing with USCIS I completely make sure that I don't leave any room for error in other words I dot my i's and cross my t's. So now I'm just waiting for the day I requested to leave the country to arrive. If you have any questions about this process please feel free to ask and I'll be happy to answer any questions or concerns.

So on the 19th of February I got a notice like others on this board saying that it was transferred, it was similar to the other but this one didn't have a date. 6 days later I got approved similar case to another post on here. So getting that second notice may be a good sign that it will be approved soon.

On November 27, 2013, we transferred your I131, APPLICATION FOR USCIS TRAVEL DOCUMENT, to your local USCIS Office for further processing. The new office has jurisdiction over your case and will send you a decision as soon as processing is complete or you will be notified if further information or action is needed. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address.
I recived that my case is transferred at 12 of April. Till now my case is panding.
I wolud like to know your experiance with this, how long i will wait? Or what can i do to my case be proved sooner?
Thank you!!!

from what i have read, it seems like the average time to receive the document is approximately 2 months.

i sent my request on April 15 or so and, so far, i have only received a notice stating they received it.

as for the letter, if you are able to guide the person issuing it regarding what information it needs to contain, it would be helpful. most doctors may not be familiar with these types of requests and may want write one similar to an Rx, so definitely let them know what it is for and what pertinent information it needs to contain.

generally, it should have their patients name, DOB, and ailment as well as something that states why you/a relative needs to travel to her.

it does not have to be convoluted, as you can also write similar things on your cover letter. just make sure the letter is on their letterhead to ensure authenticity.
