I currently work for an investigations company as a private investigator, and also hold a part time job during nights at UPS. You can't beat the UPS benefits. They are great.

I have a question about UPS. I was filling out an online application and got to the end where there is a questionare about eligibility to work handling USPS mail... I know that we are not allowed to work for the USPS, so how does that work? I am applying for a part-time package handler.

Any more info you can give would be great, hows the job? weekly hours? pay?

any other DACA recipients working for UPS or FEDEX

Surprised I never replied to this thread - probably because I didn't have a job until a few weeks after the creation of it.

I'm about to complete 1-year working at a local warehouse distribution center for an Indian based manufacturer. Started out working in what is called "special projects," where temps are dumped in for tasks that need to be done quickly. Client liked me enough to put me in Quality Assurance, later reassigned to the OEM (original equipment manufacturer) operations desk helping to prepare work orders (labels, cards, paperwork, work station allocation) before sending them down the production line.

Was offered to be trained as a second shift supervisor for the department, but the original supervisor who was stepping down changed their mind and decided to keep their position lol. So much for that prospect.

I'll likely be leaving this company in the next two months(I'm moving). The company has been good enough to me - more freedoms and privileges I could have asked for in a first job, even if they fell short in other categories.

Perhaps will update when I'm in another stable job.
