SSC Application Waiting for "verification" - Page 5

I would personally try going to another SSA office.. Let them know that you feel like the previous office is somewhat not doing something right, about the "verification" process, and that you need this new ssa office's opinion and see if they can do something about your case.

Just my opinion, I don't know if it would work, but its worth the try.

OMFG! I went to SSA tuesday, 12/3, and its still "pending" are you F'ING kidding me!!!!!! I seriously DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO NEXT! I called USCIS to see if there is anyone i could talk to and all they said was its up to SSA!!!!! I mean REALLY its almost 8 WEEKS! I know for a FACT it does NOT take this DAMN long! I read other people applying after the shut down and they got theirs 2-4 DAYS AFTER!!!

I seriously want to cry with anger!!!!!!! WTH am i suppose to do!!!!!!!

OMG! Its been MONTHS now, not days not weeks, but MONTHS, since i applied for my SSN and I have YET to receive anything!!!!!! Whats the point of having an EAD if i cant get a F'ING SSN to work!!!!!!!

Does anyone have any information on why its taking forever for my ssn to be issued!!!! I submitted all the original documents, and it still "pending".

Am i the only one in this situation, has anyone else been here, or is in this situation!?

I really really need help! =/ this is super stressful, and frustrating! I should of gotten my ssn a long time ago but i have yet to receive anything.

I have been going back to ssa every 2 weeks and they keep telling me uscis/homelandsecurity hasn't verified my documents!

Is there any way i can get in touch with them, i called uscis and they said its all handled by ssa!!!!!!!

This information might be useful to some:

I received my EAD on 10-21-13. I went to the SS office in Melville NY on 10-30-13, and they sent it for verification with the USCIS and told me it would take up to 4 weeks. I called them on 12-04-13 (call them early in the morning, otherwise you will never get thru), and it appeared as if they were waiting for me to call so that they could push the appilcation thru. After that they told me I would get it in 2 weeks, I got in 1 week.

It has been almost 3 MONTHS! I have talked to SEVERAL SSA administrators, and countless CALLS and VISITS to SSA! AGH! My SSN is STILL pending!? :'(

How is this possible!? I see people getting their EAD and and the next week getting their SSN! WHAT IS WRONG WITH MINE!

:'( I was one of the lucky ones that got their approval FAST less than 3 months, AND now my SSN is taking LONGER to be verified than my DACA did!

WHAT did I do wrong?
Does anyone have any information? Ive called, gone to the SSA office EVEN been to a different office and NO ONE HELPED ME! They all gave me the same thing OVER and OVER again, its still "pending!"

Hi guys this is my first post EVER!
i received my EAD and went to apply for my social security on May 27 2014 and this is still the day that i have not received my ssc or number for that matter. I'm really upset and dont know what to think of this. I called my lawyer he said that my best option is to try at another location because something is not right.

I went to the SSA here In Las Vegas and applied for my social, I was all excited because I heard that u can get a print out of you SSN the exact day but not sure if it was true .. Sadly after 1 hr n half waiting to be called they asked for my documents an dafter 10 mins..At the end they only gave me a reciept saying it would take up till 2 weeks..I askd if they give print outs of the number but the nice guy told me Baltimore issues SSN ..I wanna start applying but seems like I cant yet Very frustrating

You can get print out days after. The ssn is not assigned there.
