So a friend got a RFE. Because of the home school diploma. So if she sends the same information. Im sure she will be denied. What can she do? Can she enroll in a GED program now and send them a letter explaining that at the time when she applied she was not aware that a home school diploma was not valid? any body please suggestions. Thank you!

Im not trying to be negative towards ur friend, But theres another users here with that same situation and have been denied only shot she got is to send enrollment of GED classes and hope the officer working on her case help her out, like u said saying that she was not aware, you never know with officers, but i really dont think theres another way out than to try that, but start getting ready to reapply again now with her classes or the GED itself.

you don't just need to be enrolled, just take the damn GED test, if you already have a diploma then its a piece of cake to take. Home school diploma, yeah that'll fly very well.

I'm a bit surprised about all this GED and home school talk. I don't travel much so I don't know much about schooling in other states, but why wouldn't these individuals just get a regular high school diploma? I don't want to automatically assume that they did bad in school, but is that the case why they are getting GED's?

Some of these kids have legitimate excuses, while others don't. either way, get your state GED already.

they are gonna deny her application because at the time of filing they didn't accept her home school diploma, she needed a GED or High school diploma at the time of filing her request for DACA even if she gets her GED they aren't gonna approve her because she didn't have the proper diploma at the time of filing, trust me I got denied because of it... Sorry but they are gonna deny her.
