I agree. We have much to lose here. We have to be proactive even if nothing happens. At least we'll know we tried everything.

We do have much to lose here, but i bring the fact that we're not suppose to be here anyway. We're deferred by the president and it can be taken away in the next administration just like that, what will you guys do then?

open up a case with the ombudsman.

and also that check list doesn't even apply to us with renewals as this is again a new procedure for everybody.

and again, all we can do is bitch and moan 24/7 until one of us gets approved and once that happens we're going to see the string of approvals and stories about how it was too late and lots of people lost their jobs.

lol, don't understand where your attitude is coming from, i'm simply stating facts, and i care because well.. i'm also a dreamer and i know whats at stake, however i don't feel the entitlement that you proudly carry.

and my point is to stop bitching and moaning and carry on. What are you going to do if your EAD expires before your renewal comes through? YOU CAN'T DO ANYTHING. that's my point.

I don't feel entitled to it at all, however, requesting assistance from Ombudsman won't hurt me and that's why I'm pursuing it.


You're absolutely right. There's nothing I can do. But I won't sit on my ass and wait like you seem to suggest.

I didn't think it would take this long....but at least I'm not the only one.

i wasn't telling you to not do anything though. So you'll get an answer, sure but all you can do is wait and that's all i'm trying to say.

all of us who are early applicants will be in the same boat, unless they start approving people next week. We're all going to pretty much lapse over and not be able to renew our licenses in time.
