It's just sad that this President is unable to multi-task.

Obama should act now and then plan the attack. People will forget that he did any immigration stuff once he talks about bombing another country.

There is a similar article on the NY Times:

Fed up with congressional gridlock, the president has said he’ll use his executive power to make changes. One proposal under discussion would delay a decision on the more sweeping and controversial changes under consideration until after the November midterm election, according to a White House official familiar with the discussions.

Under that plan, the president would first announce measures aimed at tightening enforcement of current law, then put off until the end of the year a decision on a more sweeping program that could temporarily shield millions of immigrants from deportation…

Aides say the president has not made a decision on precise actions or timing. The official familiar with the talks, who would not be identified discussing internal deliberations, said the two-step proposal was one of several on the table.

Relax guys I def see an announcement coming next Friday or the Friday after. This is a GOLDEN opportunity right before elections. No politician would let a chance like this slip.

I don't think so.... I saw a speech he made afterwards and he hinted that he might be thinking of waiting until after the elections....

Anyone remember that closed doors meeting with Boehner and Obama a couple months back, where only days after the meeting, Boehner publicly announces a strategy about suing Obama (or even impeaching him), while Obama then went full force ahead announcing that his immigration relief EO is almost upon us.

Now you know how many politicians, no matter what party, could be like best friends when behind closed doors (Although there are some that truly hate one another).

Could be possible this is still part of the Boehner/Obama agreed upon strategy where they both told each other this is what they will be doing going forward, and they made concessions with each other secretly on how to play out their "team" strategy.

Maybe Obama's part of the strategy is still going smoothly, he "wimps" out near to his supposed announcement deadline for end of summer, now stating something will happen after November elections, because maybe something will happen as agreed upon by Boehner/Obama, and maybe they agreed the best time to do something is right after November on the election year.

Now I may be just talking out of naiveté, and I am one person who is fed up with inaction from both parties, but I think all of what I stated could be a possibility.

I just hope their strategy doesn't involve a couple of more years of inaction, as it is peoples lives they are playing with...
