Okay, so some people came here with a family, others started one, and others have no family. I still see no valid argument as to why any of these recipients mentioned above should get priority over the other. I never once said i should get priority over anyone, let's make that very clear. Again, i'm all for executive action that will help everyone collectively. And by everyone, i mean the whole country, not just us undocumented peeps. Is this so hard to understand?

Either way, it's all speculation. On a different note, whatever the announcement turns out to be, good luck to everyone.
Thanks, you too mate!

Just curious, how long after the executive order should one wait to contact a lawyer? If one even qualifies for relief. I'm guessing the wait should be shorter than when DACA was announced?

I would guess right away just to get all of your stuff in line, if you qualify. But i'm assuming whatever is announced won't go into effect right away. It may take a few months, but who knows?

I figured that out already via all of your last comments, and from your comment signature. I thought it's appropriate to your profile picture regardless of the fact that it's genuinely from you or someone else.
I saw a happy face with a humor from a future baby's papa who's in control by himself for every single of his own action (include commenting) prefer not to be daring and get rid of taking unreasonable risks, instead pursuing practical and being pacific among his neighbors.
Those are the common factors usually behaved by aged people who owns healthy mentality without greedy mind because they've been thorough some lessens in their life that bear some wisdoms, and they knew it better themselves.

Assuming it's going to be announced next week as mentioned, I would say start looking for a good lawyer now, if you don't have one. If you already have a lawyer, contact him/her right after the announcement. You are one of the older dreamers, right? DACA has been around for more than 2 years now. It's not like lawyers don't know anything about it.

Please dont contact any attorneys YET!!!! ( our office is getting calls already) Attorney's dont know more than you do about this yet! Until a run down of the process has been announced we cant tell you how to prepare yourself. We dont know how far back the continuous presence will be, no idea what crim charges will be the disqualifier or how much the application will be.

SOME attorneys who are part of their region AILA chapter have started to meet to put in place different helpful info once an announcement has been made. PLEASE dont PAY anyone yet for something that has not been announce. Scammer are out there right now taking advantage of the desperation cause by the news.

*Disclaimer: I work for an attorney who is a chair at our region AILA chapter.

I believe that everybody deserves relief regardless of how many years they've been here.
