I heard those with DACA can now join MAVNI Program.

I fulfill the language requirement so when I went to an army recruiting center in NYC and asked, the recruiter doesn't seem to know anything about it.

Does anybody know contact info of an army recruiter who knows about this? East-coast, west-coast doesn't matter.

DOD authorized DACAs to join the military if they qualify for the MAVNI program, but so far, none of the Services have decided to recruit DACAs. The Army is apparently the only Service that will participate in MAVNI this year, so a DACA will not be able to enlist in any Service except the Army--and only if the Army agrees to take DACAs. So far the Army has not agreed to do that, and the MAVNI program has been suspended until the Army makes a decision. There are no recruiters who know anything about enlisting DACAs because the Army has not yet authorized DACAs to enlist. Check back with a recruiter in a few months and there may be new information.

If you have a family member who is a citizen or a green card holder, you'll be able to join the military and get deferred action that way. I'm not sure if this is a step towards legalization, but you will be able to parole in place.

So there's no MAVNI for DACA yet? My brother went to the recruiting office for the Army and they said that they'll take him and they know that he has DACA. My brother is just waiting for his EAD card to be renewed and the recruiter said that he can come and apply.
