Official DACA RENEWAL Process Time Thread! - Page 161

So my brother's EAD expires next week. We've already called the USCIS 3x and I've already filed a request with the ombudsman's office and already followed-up that request twice. Now we're talking to a level 2 rep asking to expedite. Which will probably be denied considering I myself filed for my case to be expedited. They said that they don't expedite DACA cases or give them an extension on their work permit. This doesn't make sense to me considering on the USCIS DACA renewal website they said that they will.

New to the forum. Sent DACA application on 02/20/15 to Lockbox Chicago via express mail. Was received on 02/24/15. So far have not received any text or email or letter for confirmation. Is this normal? Any suggestions on what to do? Thanks!

some of the USCIS offices are closed due to the bad weather and maybe your case was sent to one of them, so maybe that's the reason you haven't receive any notification via text, email, or mail... If I were you I would wait... for next week and hopefully you will get it something

Mine expires next week too, I've called about 3 times myself but they say they can't do nothing about it, :/
What your brothers timeline?

He sent his in 11/19/14, his biometrics was on 12/16/14. His EAD expires 3/11/15.
We talked to a level 2 rep and we filed for his case to be expedited. Probably going to be denied anyways, but at least we tried.

Sucks for us all

I send mine on the 3 of November and it was received on November the 6th... my bios were done on December 3rd and I'm still waiting I've called but no chance on my case! my EAD expires on the 11th too... :/

For what its worth im hoping the weather gets better cause I dont want that to be the reason for the delays.

Guys please don't lose hope!! We were there to my daughter in laws EAD was to expire next week the 11th. I check the LIN # constantly... I was obsessed, hourly almost.�� Anyway I checked this morning at 6 am... Still that damn "my case was received". I arrived at work and thought it not quite 7 but what the heck. And there it was "YOUR CARD HAS BEEN ORDERED FOR PRODUCTION". We were praying 24/7 and low and behold prayers were answered 6 days before expiration. Diosito is good, do not despair it's coming. ��

Did you guys contact an ombudsman or did the old fashion way - just submit and wait?
