Hello all,

I just returned from Mexico with AP last week. I'm married and my wife who is a US Citizen. What's next? any one went through this? what's the time frame to adjust status? any idea on the fees? Most important the time? My DACA expires in 100 days and I want to avoid paying this fee and rather apply for my green card. .. all comments are welcome

I heard that the fee is $1040 to adjust status and that the process is way faster than it would had been.. You should do it asap so like you said you wont have to pay to renew your daca and can still have work permit with adjustment of status

The process is way faster because some folks adjusting had a EWI which makes it almost impossible to adjust, AP allows them to enter the country back with inspection effectively making them paroles which now opens doors for adjustments

I applied a month ago, went to biometrics and today I checked my case and it says it's ready for interview. It's been one month. Cost was $420 and $1070 plus the civil surgeon fee.

I'm in the same boat as you.

Here is what I found out with a quick google

Download and complete the Following Forms:

1. G-325a
2. I-864
3. I-485
4. I-693

I'm still don't know how much the surgeon fee is or what is the minimum a out of income and if your below that if you need a sponsor . And if you can file everything together? I'm still searching....
