That's total bull ****! They approve people all the time when the they're harassed and the EAD just expired. They're just lazy gov't morons. None of this is directed at you, but to USCIS

No, I haven't been approved. My ead expired March 13th. I put in a request to expedite Monday 16th. And nothing has changed since.

Mine expired Friday, too. I put in an expedite request on the 17th. How do you check on the status of the request?

Oks, so today I called again( this time in Spanish) and the lady told me that since I applied more than 120 days before I qualified for the temporary work extension. I told her I was told before this was not possible and how come if true I have not received this extension if my permit already expired, and all she said " it's automatic." She could not even explain the process as she was just reading from the website. My point is these people don't know anything themselves and keep giving people wrong information!!!
I am beyond frustrated because of their inconsistencies. I seen people in the April thread get approved already this is just BS
I cannot do anything but sit down and wait while I am days from losing my job....

I called again today after calling Tuesday and asking for an Expedite request. I called today because there was no update on CASE STATUS and was transferred to Level 2 officer. The officer said my case had been assigned and was pending response with a target date of 3/22. I expire tomorrow. My HR is on me today :/

OMG!!!!!!! Finallly I was just literally approved. Although I signed up for the text notification I only received two emails and now it says my card is under production!!. Idk how much it helped, but like 30 minutes ago I emailed ombudsman office asking about my status and that I did not want to lose my job. I am beyond static and I hope this card arrives soon!!
