Good for you and I stand corrected. I don't peruse threads that do not pertain to me so I missed that you are able to travel with AP which is a blessing for you as many people I know cannot travel outside the US and the one person I know who used AP had a horrible exlerience. There are strength in numbers and I hope when expanded DACA/DAPA is implemented we come together and those who make over 40k will help those achieve the same success. We can do that by helping those who are in the same states as each other right here on this forum. Let's all truly pay it forward as for better or worse we're all in this together striving to obtain The American Dream.

Work in Public Accounting..small firm...about 35K. Not bad but really it is time for me to step up and try for a bigger firm. Could bring in between 55-60K.

I would post my companies name and website and pictures for you to see the work I do and projects I did such as a 22 story high rise hotel you can believe what you want.i don't care and I am a daca recipient . Listen your a slave of your own mentality when I see something I want it and go gets it .it's not a life hack, I'm just very ambitious , I worked construction since I was 17 and I'm turning 30 .I've met a lot of people that want me to prosper and a lot of folks that would love me to fail,I honestly can't believe the things I'll do if the President gives me a green card which I don't have.My company started with only 15k and honestly it's doing pretty well . I haven't worked for any one in 2 years I wake up when I want and I boss around a 7 man crew I sit in my truck , I go meetings that's basically it ,I started my business 6 mths after receiving daca .i
Honestly I believe the reason I'm here on earth is to help people and now I'm getting the opportunity to help other people who can't help themselves or find it hard to help themselves.
the year just started and I already signed the biggest contract of my company of 210k. I'm not a partner I'm a ceo of a construction company .

If you don't mind me asking, are you a petroleum engineer? Also, do you work for one of the big petroleum companies like Chevron or Shell?

I ask because there for a while I really wanted to pursue a petro engenieering degree but I didn't think that i would be good enough(academic wise) for a petro degree, not to mention I would have to move to Texas to go to one of the schools that actually has a petro program and one that I could afford.

Do you personally think that someone right out of college with a petro engineering degree could get a job offer these days? Or do you think like others that the market is too saturated with newly grads?..

I also work in marketing and making nowhere close to 80k. What type of marketing do you do?
