I did a quick research on the forum to see if anyone else is getting this message when checking on their case status online:

At this time USCIS cannot provide you with information for your case. Please contact the NCSC 1 (800) 375-5283 for additional information.
I called but I'm getting the same kind of message:

Quote:
Status for this receipt number cannot found at this time in this automated system. Please check your case receipt number to see if it's correct. To retry your receipt number or to try another receipt number press 1, to report a problem with your case press…
I only found three threads related to this problem but nothing recent: http://goo.gl/LMqwtE

So what's up with this? I'm getting it for both my brother and myself.

What they said^

It's relevant to know the timeline as USCIS doesn't update its systems readily. It could even take up until biometrics before they update for you to see your case status

I would give it until May. It does take some time for your case to show up and even when it does it will only say that they received your case and send you a paper detailing how they will proceed with your case, which is not much more than your receipts.

Something I totally forgot to mention is that last week the Web page said they had processed my name change request, which I had not requested at all. I assumed that was due to not adding my second last name under in Form I-821D though I did mention it in "other used name(s)"

Anyway, then this week I moved so I made the appropriate address change request—other than that, I don't understand why it's showing that message to me.

On a sidenote, my brother is having the same issue. Though he didn't have any mention of a name change request but he did an address change.

PS. I used my old (initial request back in 2012) case receipt number and it does bring a message saying I had been granted DACA in 2013… so this is not an issue with their Web page.

I had the same thing happen to me too when I changed my address. Now the only way to get updates is to call them, however I must ask for an agent or level two because only they can see the internal information. That happened about three weeks ago
