I went to Puerto Rico in March and had no issues . I emailed CBP and was told we are okay to go to the Virgin Islands as long as we take Daca doctmentation and state id. But I want to see if anyone has visited USVI with Daca.
Just wan to repost the above as I too have been to PR just fine but would like to visit USVI. Wondering if anyone has actually ventured and done it for reals?

I have been wanting to do the same thing actually with my best friend. I Was just waiting for my card to get renewed so that I'm able to get my license renewed as well. I know it's a US territory and my friend who goes there all the time for business tells me driver's license works thats all, but his license doesnt have "Temp Imm status" on it, but either way I think we should be fine. The only one that actually worries is my mom

So I have deduced that with DACA and a drivers license, it is fairly safe to travel to Puerto Rico. However, I would like to know if anyone has any experience flying from US to PR and back with no DACA, no ID, and just a foreign passport.

What is the consensus on travelling to PR if one is undocumented, and doesn't qualify under DACA?

You don't go through customs when traveling to or from Puerto Rico. You only go through TSA and they won't give you a hard time if you're presenting a foreign passport as an ID.

However, this is only with Puerto Rico. If you travel to the Virgin Islands or the other territories, they are special customs zones and have customs for flights going to the mainland US.

Actually they do give you a hard time. When I was in line to board the plane in San Juan they guy in front of him showed his dominican passport and the tsa looked through it and asked for visa. He had a valid visa but the tsa guy had to call someone else to verify it so they pull him aside and then i dont know what happened because He checked my ID and I was good to go. If you dont have some sort of legal status do not travel to Puerto Rico. I dont recommend it. It's not safe

If you have a state issued ID you're fine. Really.

Hi guys, I went to PR for July 4th weekend and had a blast. Obviously going to PR was just like flying to another mainland state. Coming back, I didn't have any issues either. The TSA guy looked pretty cool. Didn't look at my FL ID twice.. even though it has "temporary" written in big bold letters.
