Guys, for those of you that have been able to travel with AP. Did any of you have a deportation order?
If so, how did you go about your case.. Thanks. I will most likely seek legal advice soon but want to hear from your experiences.

We're in the same boat.

From my own understanding you need to get your proceedings reopened and administratively closed or terminated before you can travel. Still, I am not sure if anyone has done this so far. At least I am not aware of anyone who has.

Traveling with a removal order will most likely trigger the 5 year ban since Yarabally applies only to the illegal presence bans.

I applied and was approved to visit my ailing grandmother in south korea (5/20 - 7/22) but unfortunately, I decided not to make my travel due to current MERS-Cov outbreak in the country... So I'm wondering if I can ask USCIS to postpone my AP date to later this yr or early next yr with this reason. I would like to avoid spending another $360 for reapplication if I can... Can anyone chime in on this?

I believe this is not possible but you have to call USCIS and ask.

Ugh, this MERS thing happened at the worst time!! I got AP approval to travel in October to S. Korea so I'm hoping that it's settled and solved by then...

If I were you, I would buy a bunch of surgical masks in bulk here and just bite the bullet and go. Does your eligibility for a green card or undo-EWI depend on your trip? If so, I would say go and return. Just play it safe when you're there.
Me personally, this trip will be the only thing that let's me adjust my EWI status and then I can come back and apply for adjustment of status for a green card.

yeah I cannot believe something like this is jeopardizing my travel... arrggh. I've discussed about my travel with my relatives in korea and all of them are advising me not to come until this outbreak is contained. I guess I might be a burden to them at a time like this. I am just praying this thing gets better by end of the month so I can make my travel in July (although flights are extremely expensive

Just out of curiosity, how do you have EWI? I am assuming you didn't come here with a visa and overstayed? Also, if you dont mind me asking how are you going about adjusting your status for green card?
