I got my letter today after 1 month and 3 weeks. I recommend everyone who is waiting on their bio letter or any type of notice to call. If doesn't hurt and can speed your process. I have my bio appointment on November 6.
I have no criminal record so hopefully I'm accepted and receive my ead card soon enough.

Yes! I highly advise a walk-in. I went to the hialeah center at 7am (when they opened) and the guy told me to come back at my time. I told him I couldn't make the date since I was "going out of town" and he told me to come back at 1. I waited in a little line, did my bios, and was out the door!
