Ive gone through searches looking for threads according to this but haven't found much.
Wanted to know everyone's timelines for their Advance Parole applications, from start to finish.
Especially the amount of time it took to get approvals or RFT's.
I'm applying for AP very soon though my attorney but would like to travel as soon as December. Doesn't have to be then though, i know waiting for a response from USCIS can be nerve-racking.
I sent my application on 9/24/15. I sent it overnight because my lawyer did not like my timeframe and I was anxious. I need it for a January trip.

On October 19th my lawyer e-mailed me that it had been accepted but that I should take it with a grain of salt until I got the actual letter.

On October 23rd I had the approval in the mail. I am extremely happy I feel like it was approved very fast.

I am still very nervous about my trip. It will be in January.

Hey guys just want to share my AP timeline so far. I was scared to apply because of the uncertainty of being let back in or not.

I applied for humanitarian reasons and I had a very weak case (sick aunt with diabetes). Sent in all of my paperwork on October 12, 2015. It was received on October 13, 2015. I received the receipt notice on October 16, 2015. I have been checking the USCIS website and my document was sent to me on October 30, 2015. For a total of 17 days!
I am using my married name on my DACA/ advance parole and was worried that would delay things. Now to wait for the actual document to book my flight!

A side question- has anyone received AP for multiple travel?

How was your experience with AP emergency ? what did the officers asked you and was it hard to get it that same day.?

engineergirl how did everything go for you?
Also, how long did you ask for and how does multiple entries work? did they give you a certain amount of entries or is it for the entire length of the time you asked?

I will be traveling December 12, 2015 through December 13, 2015, I will be going to Juarez. I asked for 30 days multiple entries. I believe that if you want multiple entries you can put the entire length of the trip (6 months) etc, with multiple entries and the document will be valid for that amount of time.

I have a degree in civil engineering, but I work in an immigration law office as a paralegal.
