Hello, I have sent my application on may 24th via USPS priority and they received it on the 27th and havent heard anything. When should I get a text or an email ?

IT TAKES 10 DAYS. So the 6th would be normal.

Did you guys write anything on the back of the check?

Im still waiting since march. Mine expires in August. Im going to start worrying when july comes.

Mine expires in just over 2 months, but I'm still not feeling pressured. Everything is being worked on and I'm sure we'll hear word soon.

So here's a situation you I want some of you guy's input. So I sent my application, as well as my brother's, last Tuesday on June 5th, Fedex Express 2 Days. Fedex showed it was delivered on Thursday. Today I got my text and email confirmation of receipt, but I received 4 of them. Is it possible they mixed my brother and my packets together as one person?

I sent both out packets in one Fedex envelope, since doing the 2 Day Express was $25 each if packed separately. We have a very similar legal name (Chinese), and our SS# has only a 2 digit difference, and out A# is a one digit difference. I did Label our name and A# on the outside of each packet. I clearly put his information on his G-1145, So I don't understand how I got 4 receipts, each with different IOE number. He hasn't received any text or email confirmation yet. Any thoughts? Any place I can call to find out? I can't find a number on the Lockbox locations, and they just sent it to Nebraska Service Center, so I doubt Nebraska center would have the packets yet.

Sounds to me like they texted both you and your brother's receipt numbers. They wouldn't allow you to have two applications under the same name, so I don't think they think you are the same person. I would wait until you get the official NOA in the mail and then you'll know for sure which IOE# goes to who. You can also type in all four IOE#'s into this and it will tell you what application the number is associated with.

Hopefully that's the case, although it's weird since we both had different methods of contact on our G-1145. I did check the receipt numbers, and 2 of them were for I-821D, the other 2 were for I-765, so hopefully that means my brother's notification was sent to me as well. Just gotta wait for the NOA to really know now.
