update guys I just approved today and while I am happy, you guys are still in my thoughts and prayers. NotaPro like my job, you make a huge impact and Im sure they will keep you even if its past PTO. It cost so much money and time to hire another person and by the time they find someone, youll be approved so just remind them of that but they know that will be the case anyway and they will choose you over a newbie.

I'm hopeful for you that you will get approved soon, hang in there.

Congratulations my friend!!!! You never know, this may be the last time you have to worry about this renewal. I remember stressing about my renewal 2 years ago and my then boyfriend (now husband) kept telling me not to worry that next time I wouldn't have to worry about renewal. Everything will work out. I wish they'd just automatically renew people's DACAs and work permits especially when people are coming back with good records and have been nothing less than productive members of the society. Doesn't make sense for people to either lose or fear losing their jobs when they are doing what they are supposed to do...makes no sense.

I found my password for my older profile yay! (more_than_adream speaking) and wow my boyfriend now told me the same thing so we shall see haha....Im happy for you though, what a weight off your shoulders! they move so fast when it comes to marriage my brother got his greencard within that same year they applied.

I completely agree with automatic renewals but they probably want to make sure they get their money. Shoo I will gladly give them my account number to take that money out I like that you got through and still go on this site, some become free and act like this site never helped them get through the tough times

Hey!!!! Thank you very much . I'm happy for you, I'm sure time for next renewal you'll be a Permanent Resident, it will happen. I give this site a lot of credit, it helped me keep it together and stay optimistic when I had no documentation. After DACA became effective, seeing people's stories here inspired me to keep working hard. I will always be here to lend my support even if it is an encouraging sentence and when time is needed for action, I will use my new status to help push for a more permanent relief for Dreamers. I was really hoping that after people had DACA for four years, the option to file for Permanent Residency would open up, Dreamers need something more Permanent.

you're just plain awesome! and yes crazy how "temporary relief" turned into 5 years already!!! I hope they dont try to add anymore years if they want us to get permanent res we've been waiting forever and some like my family waited over 10 years once they filed and I aged out! my parents are vacationing in Guyana right now and Im stuck here lol Somebody needs to come up with a solution this time around hopefully....

How would USCIS find out? I know a bunch of people who worked illegally for years and later adjusted status through marriage.
