"USCIS has produced your Permanent Resident Card (Green Card) and mailed it to the address you provided."

Why the hell would it tell me my green card was mailed out to me when I applied for DACA? Has anyone experienced this same issue? Obviously I would be ecstatic if I received my green card, but my application was for an EAD card + DACA status.
I remember one person had this message.

I highly doubt it matters how some people can view images of both applications and supporting docs on the uscis site, whereas some can only view the supporting docs. We're probably reading too much into it.

Yeah, I guess I'll be getting an EAD after all. Still waiting for it in the mail.

Has anyone had any luck getting the tracking number from L2 officer?

It has been an interesting ride. But we do have DACA, I guess that's a start but we need full on Dream Act.

My worst fear is that my job will let me go without the opportunity for rehire. I work for one of the large companies and will be losing my 84+ salary if I do not get renewed.

I am not sure what will happen.
If you have a union or even if you don't, see what kind of protections you guys have when it comes to immigration. Some unions have provisions that will allow for an absense without a termination. Something worth looking into, since we are still waiting for an approval.

Yes, we proved that with someone that got approved the next day after stating they could not see their application. Idk where the problem is for these delays but the USCIS update is kind of reassuring. Just hate waiting for something so important.

Thank you Best of luck to you too. What's keeping at ease is that my job is not looking into it. Last renewal, they did bring it to my attention, but my old company got recently bought by a bigger one, and this time they didn't say anything, maybe they just transfer the old employees into the new system without getting all the info, haha.

I send the application for a replacement plus another check for $465 and they take about 8 MONTHS for the replacement card.

Then first renewal time comes and they approve me about a month before the expiration, pretty cool hassle free.

Now for my seccond renewal, once again they have dropped the ball. My permit and everything expires tomorrow. This whole thing has been draining but here we are.
My first renewal EAD was lost in the mail. I had to file for a replacement card, but had case expedited. Received replacement EAD a month later.

Dang!! 84??? Thats a good salary. I expire tomorrow and today i spoke to my boss and he told me not to sweat it. He said its out of your hands. So he told me there are ways around it. I guess this is the benefir of working for a small company.

Has anyone spoken directly to an immigration pfficer and had goOd results come out of it? Just spoke to one today and she put in a request to have my application viewed, and she basically told me they are NOT approving in the order it was recieved. I got a goOd feeling speaking to her. She said if i don't recieve any notice by august 31st to give USCIS another call.
